Every day, large amounts of food are left unused while many people face food insecurity. Hunger Gone works to find a solution to solve hunger and reduce food waste by working with communities, businesses, and individuals. Hunger Gone makes it easy for businesses and donors to share available food with local shelters and soup kitchens. Hunger Gone is an initiative dedicated to making a lasting difference through collaboration and community action. Hunger Gone continues to inspire change by helping build a future where nutritious food is accessible to everyone.
Samarpan orphanage provides children who need shelter, support, and opportunities a safe and caring environment. The place creates much more than a place to live, but an encouraging atmosphere where children have access to nutritious meals, education, and emotional care. It is the goal to give every child the chance to learn, grow up in a positive community, and build a better life.
Hunger and Food insecurity affects the lives of children and communities all around the world, creating challenges that can affect health, education, and overall well-being. Many children don’t have reliable access to meals, which makes the work of organizations that provide care and resources extremely important. Hunger Gone and Samarpan share a similar goal to improve the lives of children and communities in need. While Hunger Gone recognizes people facing hunger to connect them with available food sources, Samrapan provides children with a safe space to give them education, nutritious meals, and emotional support. Both organizations are committed towards giving children the resources and support they need to live a healthier, successful life.
My name is Samaara Golchha, and I have always believed everybody deserves the same chance. This belief encourages and inspires me to learn more about the everyday challenges that prevent children from reaching their full potential, like not having availability of basic needs. This led me to explore the obstacles that many children face that prevent them from having equal opportunities, especially when it comes to having essential resources like good food, care, and support. Through this project, my goal is to spread awareness, expand recognition for organizations like Hunger Gone and Samarpan, and urge others to support fighting hunger and helping children in need.
Hunger Gone is a youth-led initiative focused on expanding access to essential resources for children facing hunger and hardship. Through fundraising, donations, and community support, we work to provide those resources and create meaningful change.
We imagine a future where every child has the nourishment, support, and opportunities they need to succeed. Our vision is to grow Hunger Gone into a nonprofit that brings communities together, expands opportunities, and creates a brighter future for children around the world.
